The Women of Tula Village in Garissa, Kenya talk about the many challenges they face due to drought and water scarcity in this area. They have benefited from water pans and from harvesting rainwater to meet their needs for domestic use and for their livestock. A simple technology called "jido" has helped ease their burden by making it easier to carry water to their homesteads.
